Zambia U20 Women's national team Assistant coach Kape Melissa Saili has promised fans an exciting game when the young Copper Queens meet South Africa on Saturday in an in FIFA 2020 World Cup qualifier at Nkoloma Stadium.
Saili says the girls will give the home fans something to smile about. She went to say that the team really wanted to face South Africa and will use this as a gauge to see how far they will go in the qualifiers.
"Fans should expect a very exciting game because many people wanted to watch the girls in action as they were only watched on television during the COSAFA. Now that they will be watched live, we promise to give the home fans something to smile about," she said.
"We had really wanted to meet South Africa at the COSAFA tournament but we didn't get that chance so this is a good opportunity for us to see how far we will go in the qualifiers," she added.
Zambia will host South Africa in the preliminary qualifiers for the 2020 FIFA World Cup this Saturday before traveling to South Africa for the away fixture on the weekend of 31st January to February 2.
The winner between Zambia and South Africa will play either Namibia or Botswana in the next round.
