Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 99th international goal as Portugal ran 2-0 winners over Luxembourg on Sunday 17 November to qualify for Euros 2020.

The reigning European champions went ahead through Bruno Fernandes in the first half, before Cristiano Ronaldo sealed the win with his 99th international goal. 

Ronaldo is now just one goal away from becoming the second player in history to reach a century of goals for his country.

The win means the holder joins Ukraine in automatic qualifying for the Euros with Serbia taking the play-off position.
