Benin head coach Michel Dussuyer expressed happiness with his teams' reaction every time they went down in the 2-2 draw with Zambia.

Dussuyer attributed the two goals his team conceded to lapses in the defense but was happy that his team managed to come back from a goal down twice to force a two-all draw.

"Zambia scored twice and we managed to catch up which showed that we can react when we are down," he said.

"It was a tough game, Our defenders made mistakes but we managed to come back. Zambia was physically stronger than us but we were mentally strong to manage to come back twice. We now working on the qualifiers as we have seen our mistakes," he added.

" Its true people are looking out for us come 2021 following our performance in the last tournament. Today we have seen our weaknesses and we will work on them so that we can play well in the qualifiers against Nigeria and Sierra Leone," he said.
