Club Brugge are reportedly making an attempt to sign Ghana international Daniel Amartey from Leicester City in the ongoing summer transfer window according to Football Ghana.
The publication is of the belief that Amartey has been a longtime target of Club Brugge and the latter are said to be keen on a swap deal before the close of the European transfer window.
Leicester City currently have Hamza Choudhury, Wilfried Ndidi and Nampayls Mendy at their disposal in the defensive department and that is becoming frustrating for Amartey to compete.
The 24-year-old will be making his return from a long-time injury and Club Brugge are keen to offer him a deal and discuss personal terms.
Amartey has made 17 Premier League appearances across the last two seasons, although he missed the majority of the 2018/19 campaign with an ankle injury.
