Liverpool appear to have suffered a huge injury blow ahead of the UEFA Super Cup clash against Chelsea after Naby Keita limped out of training.
The Guinean midfielder has suffered a myriad of injuries during his time with the Reds and missed the end of last season with a thigh problem he picked up in the first half of the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona at the Nou Camp. Keita suffered another injury while on duty for his country in the African Cup of Nations.
When taking part in an open training session at Vodafone Park prior to Wednesday's clash with the Blues, Keita pulled up with what appeared to be a muscle issue. The 24-year-old was an unused substitute for Liverpool's 4-1 victory over Norwich City in the Premier League on Friday.
