Frank Lampard reveals how he will replace Eden Hazard

Chelsea lost Eden Hazard to Real Madrid for £88.5m in the summer transfer window, with Frank Lampard revealing that he has a group of players who are able to replace the Belgian.

Hazard enjoyed seven hugely successful years at the club, winning the Premier League twice, one FA Cup and two Europa League titles. Chelsea were not able to get a replacement in the market as they were served with a two-window transfer ban by FIFA.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the UEFA Super Cup against Liverpool, Lampard was asked how he would replace Hazard, "I agree I was a huge fan of Hazard, one of the best in world football, over his time at Chelsea one of the most productive and a leader. You can’t replace him individually.

"But the good news and the positive news is that we have a group that can step up. The answer is that as a team we have to find a way to carry on. Hazard, Terry, Drogba, move on."
