13 Mar 2018, 06:32

Zambian striker Obbie 'Zaninge' Chirwa was once again on target for his Young Africans (YANGA) out-fit in Tanzania in their three goals to one league win over Stand United.

Chirwa scored in the 85th minute to seal the win for Young Africans with the earlier goals having been scored by Ally Ally and Ajibu Ibrahim. The win took Yanga to 46 points level with leaders Simba who have played a game less.

The win was a welcome boost for the George Lwandamina coaches side who were expected to travel to Botswana yesterday ( Monday, March 12th ) for their CAF champions league first round second leg encounter against Township Rollers.

Yanga who seek a place in the group stage need to score atleast two unanswered goals having lost in the first leg which was held in Dar es Salaam by two goals to one.
