Zambia's representatives in the CAF Champions League Zesco United were on Friday held to a nil all draw away to JKU in the first leg of their preliminary round encounter.

Coach Tenant Chembo started the Match with a two man attack in Jesse Jackson Were  and Lazarous Kambole supported by midfield sensation Enock Sabamukama as their main threats upfront but could not deliver an away victory.

Chembo introduced Club legend Winston Kalengo in the second half and later Jackson Mwanza to try and find that away but it remained elusive for the entire 90 minutes.

The Zambia Super league champions will host the Zanzibar out-fit in a week's time for the return leg at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
