Manchester United have completed the signing of Victor Lindelof from Benfica after the defender passed medical.

The Red Devils have secured their first summer signing from Portugal side Benfica in a fee believed to be around £30.7 million. The 22 year old arrived at Carrington training base on Wednesday morning for medical. The Swede international has long been a target of boss Jose Mourinho, who decided a move for the player in January.

The centre back has revealed his joy after he completed his move to United and told the club's official website, - I'm thrilled to join United. I'm keen to get started and contribute to the team's efforts to win more trophies.

United boss Jose Mourinho is excited to improve his back line and plans to make a defensive dynasty out of Lindelof and Eric Bailly.
