Manchester United steps up their interest in Islam Slimani

Despite fans protest over the weekend about the lack of proper signings in the team, Manchester United is believed to be stepping up their interest on Algeria striker Islam Slimani.

Supporters were incredibly shocked to hear of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer interest in the AS Monaco striker following the injury of Marcus Rashford with others taking to social media to express their displeasure.

United Reports indicate that due to the unavailability of strikers in the market, United is looking for a short term option and see Slimani as a player who could fill the void left by the Englishman due to his experience with Leicester City.

What irked fans was the fact that the player didn’t have a good outing at his parent club Leicester with others having the thought that the likes of Edison Cavani could do a better job than Slimani.

Others feel that United is using the Slimani case as a decoy to keep their fans busy as they look to tie down other players whom they don’t want to reveal to the public.
