Manchester United midfielder Tahith Chong might leave the club at the end of the season with his agent reportedly to have met Inter Milan officials.
Inter is said to be keen on the 20-year-old Dutchman who has not agreed on any new deal with United despite his contracting ending in six months’ time.
Sky Sports through journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday that the talks between Inter and Chong agent were positive with the Italian giants having given assurances on game-time, as well as future progression and a path into the first team.
Chong joined United in 2016 from Dutch side Feyenoord but despite some promising outings more so with the club’s U23 side, he has only made two appearances in the Premier League this term.
Chong has been a consistent figure in United’s first team from last season where he was part of the team that staged a massive come back against Paris Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League.
Apart from Inter, Juventus is another team said to be interested in the player with Barcelona said to be the other team said to be closely monitoring the proceedings.
