AFCON 2021 Qualifiers: Zimbabwe 18-man squad to face Zambia announced

Zimbabwe national team head coach Joey Antipas has named his 18 member squad for the trip to Zambia to face the Copper Bullets on Tuesday in a Cameroon 2021 AFCON qualifier.

Antipas has dropped three players namely Terrence Dzukamanja, Thabani Kamusoko and goalkeeper Talbert Shumba from the traveling squad.

The Warriors will face Chipolopolo in the second Group H encounter of the 2021 Afcon Qualifiers. Zimbabwe was held to a goalless draw by Botswana while Zambia suffered a 5-0 humiliation at the hands of Algeria in their respective first group games.

The match will be played at Heroes National Stadium in Lusaka on Tuesday. Kick-off is at 6 pm

Here is the full 18-man traveling squad:

Goalkeepers: Elvis Chipezeze, Simbarashe Chinani.

Defenders: Ian Nekati, Cliff Moyo, Kelvin Moyo, Teenage Hadebe, Partson Jaure, Alec Mudimu, Ronald Pfumbidzai.

Midfielders: Marshall Munetsi, Marvelous Nakamba, Butholezwe Ncube, Ovidy Karuru, Khama Billiat, Kudakwashe Mahachi.

Strikers: Knox Mutizwa, Knowledge Musona (c), Prince Dube
