Kenya national men team Harambee Stars will report to camp on Tuesday 5 November ahead of their 2021 African Cup of Nation qualifiers against Egypt and Togo.
Stars is slated to take Egypt in Cairo on November 14th with their camping having been threatened by the lack of funds according to Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Nick Mwendwa in a presser earlier this week.
The squad that will participate in both games will be named on Saturday by head coach Francis Kimanzi.
In a statement, FKF said: “The Kenya national football team, Harambee Stars, will commence non-residential training on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, ahead of their opening match of the 2021 AFCON Qualifiers, against Egypt.
“Stars are scheduled to take on Egypt on November 14, 2019, in Cairo, and Togo, five days later, in Nairobi, as they bid to make back to back appearances at the continental showpiece.
“Coach Francis Kimanzi, in the meantime, is expected to release his squad on Saturday, ahead of the crucial matches.”
Apart from Egypt and Togo, Stars are in Group together with Comoros in their aim to make it to Cameroon in 2021 for the continental showpiece.
