Former Republic of Ireland international Mark Kennedy has enjoyed a great start to coaching life as Wolverhampton Wanderers U23 caretaker manager.
Striker Benny Ashley-Seal scored a brace against Derby County in their Premier League Cup fixture which made it six goals from four matches for the 20-year-old.
Ashley-Seal found the back of the net in 12 minutes to open the scoreline for his side as he met Elliot Watt’s inviting delivery with a brilliant header into the corner.
That goal settled any nerves that Kennedy may have had who replaced outgoing coach Rob Edwards and it didn't take long for Wolves to extend their lead.
Six minutes before first half break, Callum Thompson found himself in the box and created the space for Ashley-Seal to strike again.
Wolves managed to keep in control of their game in order to secure their 2-1 victory at the end of 90 minutes.
