Ukraine bounced back from a two-goal deficit to draw Nigeria 2-2 in an international friendly played on Tuesday.
Ukraine scored two quick goals to cancel Nigeria's 2-0 first half lead as the first senior international match between both countries ended in a 2-2 draw.
Debutant Joe Aribo scored the Super Eagles' first goal after three minutes courtesy of a team play effort chaired by Samuel Chukwueze.
Victor Osimhen then converted from the spot to put Nigeria 2-0 ahead into the break.
On resumption for the second half, Nigeria became a bit more relaxed from their attacking mindset of the first half, as Ukraine now do more of the attack.
As the game entered it's final 20 minutes, Manchester City's left back Oleksandr Zinchenko slot with his left foot past goalkeeper Francis Uzoho to put Ukraine back in the game.
Less than two minutes later, Ukraine drew level when Super Eagles defense was caught lapping in a situation adjudged to be a handball by the Europeans, but the goal was counted by Italian referee Paolo Valerie.
Despite introducing Joe Maja to make his debut alongside Emmanuel Dennis and Aribo, Nigeria could not add to the scoreline as it ended 2-2 at the Dnipro Arena.
