The Netherlands national team manager Ronald de Boer has hinted at the fact that AZ Alkmaar striker Myron Boadu could be in contention for his first senior team call up.
Boadu who is of Ghanaian descent and eligible to play for the Black Stars is yet to play for the Dutch national team although he has featured for the junior sides.
But the time is ticking for the Ghana FA to make their move or risk losing one of the hottest prospects in world football.
”Boadu now shows every week that he is a good player,” De Boer told Fox Sports in the Netherlands.
“He and Donyell Malen of PSV are definitely knocking on the door,”
Boadu earned his first professional contract last season and went ahead to make one appearance.
After two matches in Eredivisie this season, the striker has been involved in three goals – one goal and two assists.
