Manchester United preparing bid for Paul Pogba's replacement
Despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reiterating that Paul Pogba has no desire to leave Manchester United, reports indicate that the club are preparing a bid for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Pogba has been linked with a move back to Juventus while Real Madrid have also been interested in the services of the Frenchman. Solskjaer insists that no bids have been made for Pogba and that United don't have to sell players. The Red Devils have already lost Ander Herrera in the same position and will be looking to bolster the defensive midfield role.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, United are preparing Milinkovic-Savic's offer. United have also been heavily linked with a number of midfielders so far this summer, with Sporting captain Bruno Fernandes and Newcastle youngster Sean Longstaff appearing on the shortlist.
Solskjaer has only been able to secure two transfers in the current window shipping in Daniel James from Swansea and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.
