Defending African champions Cameroon open up the defence of their title against minnows Guinea-Bissau. Will they have it all their own way?

Match preview 📰

All eyes will be on Clarence Seedorf and reigning champions Cameroon (FIFA rank: #51), who take on one-time qualifiers Guinea-Bissau (#118). David and Goliath perhaps, Cameroon are clearly expected to claim their fourth consecutive head to head win here.

With the defending African champions goal-shy of late, we don't expect them to blow Guinea-Bissau away but we do expect them to chalk up a win.

Players to watch 💫

Cameroon's Paris Saint-Germain striker Maxim Choupo-Moting scored two goals in the qualifiers and may make an appearance here after scoring first against Comoros.  Guinea-Bissau striker Piqueti will surely make the cut here having scored in their last head to head meeting and Guinea-Bissau's last qualifier. He was the first goal-scorer on both clashes.
