Spanish based Copper Queens forward Barbara Banda leads the Zambia Women National team squad summoned by coach Bruce Mwape for a 10-day training camp as part of preparations for the 2019 COSAFA Women Championship slated for Port Elizabeth in South Africa from July 31 to August 11.
Green Buffaloes in-form forward Racheal Nachula has been roped in by Mwape. Others named in the squad are Helen Mubanga, Grace Chanda and Captain Misozi Zulu.
The team will be in camp from June 23 to July 2.
The draw for the 2019 COSAFA Competition will take place on Wednesday, July 3 and will see the 12 teams split into three groups each containing four sides. The top team in each pool will advance to the semifinals along with the best-placed runner-up.
