Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has raised some concerns over Paul Pogba’s recent behaviour.
The Frenchman has struggled for form since his big-money move from Juventus back to the Premier League. Despite having excellent form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Pogba is yet to maintain consistency. His form once again declined towards the back end of the campaign, scoring just two and assisting none in United’s final 10 PL outings.
“I always relied on professionals. So I would ask my football director if he thought he was the right player to come for the project, and team. If the money was OK for the budget, I would say yes,” he said.
“He is a top player, no doubt. I don’t know if his behaviour recently has been the right one. Everyone would like to have a player of the skill and talent that Pogba has. I know that Zidane likes him so, in that case, I suppose Real Madrid will push hard to get him.”
Pogba who admitted he could leave United has been linked with a move to Juventus and Real Madrid.
