Francis Kahata is set to leave Gor Mahia once his contract with the Kenyan Premier League champions expires at the end of this month.

The Kenyan International was speaking to Capital Sport where he revealed that he will leave the Greeny Army with pride following his achievements.

“I believe I have done my job well here at the club together with my teammates. Gor has been like my second home since leaving Thika and I believe that I have given them my best in all those years,” said the midfielder who is with Harambee Stars teammate in France.

“I still believe that it is a good team with good players and they are capable of retaining the title in the new season as well and doing well in the Caf competitions,” he added.

The left-footed midfielder joined K’Ogalo in 2016 after a stint in Europe and ended up winning three league titles.
