Chambeshi makes two changes as he names team to face Morocco

16 Jun 2019, 18:35

Zambia national team assistant coach Beston Chambeshi has made two changes to the team that suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Cameroon last weekend for this evening's international friendly match against Morocco.

Chambeshi has given Emmanuel Banda and Mwape Musonda a starting berth dropping Fashion Sakala and Justin Shonga to the bench.

The rest of the team remains intact with Allan Chibwe starting in goal with Kabaso Chongo, Shemmy Mayembe, Moses Nyondo and Kebson Kamanga making up the back four.

Zambia is looking to give Morocco a good test as they fine-tune their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations. Chambeshi is also using the games to give the Zambia U23 players some much-needed game time ahead of their U23 AFCON qualifier against Congo Brazzaville in September.
