Chipolopolo boys in high spirits ahead of Morocco clash
Chipolopolo captain Kabaso Chongo says the team is looking forward to Sunday's international friendly match against the Atlas Lions of Morocco.
Zambia is in North Africa on an invitation from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation which is hosting them up to June 17 as part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two countries back in 2017.
“We are training well, the guys are all happy. We are looking forward to Sunday’s game against Morocco,” Chongo told FAZ Media.
Zambia lost their first of the three scheduled friendly matches on Saturday to Cameroon and will now face Morocco on Sunday before heading to Dubai where they will battle it out with the Elephants of Ivory Coast on June 19.
