On loan Arsenal defender bags Fulham Player of the Year gong
Following an impressive season with Fulham despite relegation, Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has been named as the Cottagers Player of the Season.
Chambers was used under different roles at Fulham as under the guidance of Slavisa Jokanovic and Claudio Ranieri, the 3-time capped English international lined out in a defensive midfield berth, in a bid to provide protection to the Cottagers’ back four. The 24-year-old is now set to return to Arsenal this summer, though it remains to be seen whether he fits into the long-term plans of Gunners’ boss Unai Emery moving forward.
