Scouting Partey? Arsenal boss spotted in Levante-Atletico Levante game
Arsenal boss Unai Emery was spotted at Estadi Ciutat de València Stadium in La Liga match between Levante and Atletico Madrid on Saturday 18th.
The Gunners are in search for a left back and the Sun had reported the club is keen to sign Madrid left-back Thomas Partey. The north London side has struggled defensively in the just concluded season, chipping in 51 goals which saw them finish behind rivals Tottenham and Chelsea hence missing out Champions League spot in the process.
Error-prone defender Shkodran Mustafi could be sold in the summer with the club also targeting Kostas Manolas and Walter Kleinmann. However, Emery’s summer budget is believed to be £40million, before player sales. This could go up should the club qualify for Champions League next season by beating Chelsea in the Europa League final in Baku on May 29th.
Unai Emery in attendance at Atletico vs. Levante. Thoughts he could be looking at Thomas Partey, who has a £43million release clause. Would be a box-to-box replacement for Ramsey, but a bit more defensive minded. 6ft 1'. pic.twitter.com/8AhEsiAjHk
