Match preview 🏆

Manchester City can complete a historic domestic treble here with a win against an impressive, overachieving Watford side. The Hornets dramatically edged past Wolves in the semifinals on penalties and won't be lacking spirit here, but Pep's City should have the extra quality and class to secure more silverware.

Watford's first major final appearance since 1984 will give supporters hope. However, City's tendency to grind out wins at the back end of 2018/2019 should see them crowned champions here. Nine of their last 13 matches have featured under 2.5 goals, and a similar outcome is attractively priced here, especially in the pressure cooker environment of a showpiece event at Wembley.

Men to watch & team news 🌟

Widespread changes to the side that thrashed Brighton are unlikely. The only real dilemma is between Leroy Sané, Riyad Mahrez - who did his chances no harm with a fine display on the south coast - and a central midfielder. It's probably too early for Kevin de Bruyne to start, and with Fernandinho out, there might just be half a chance for Phil Foden if Pep wants to reward the Englishman.

Troy Deeney is the key man for Watford. Captain fantastic, passionate and their genuine chance of causing an almighty upset on Cup Final day.
