Napoli looking to sign Tottenham Hotspurs defender
Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen to acquire the services of Tottenham Hotspurs defender Kieran Trippier this is according to Sky Sports Italia.
Reports have emerged from London that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is willing to listen to offers for the England international after an underwhelming season.
Its been reported that Trippier's wife Charlotte is looking at schools in Naples but Ancelotti denied any knowledge of the same but admitted that they were interested in the player.
“I don't like talking about players from other teams. [Kieran] Trippier's wife in Naples? I honestly don't know, but Naples is a beautiful city, there are people who come on holiday.
“But [PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving] Lozano and Trippier are players who we are evaluating, then later there is everything else that is much more complex. Negotiations, players who prefer other things. They are among the players we are interested in,” Ancelotti said as reported by Calciomercato.
28-year-old Trippier's current contract at Tottenham runs until the summer of 2022.
The England international has made 112 appearances for the north London club and has scored twice and set up 24 goals for his team-mates in that time.
