Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has heaped praise on Jorge Luiz, better known as Jorginho, labelling him the best midfielder in Europe.
Speaking after watching the midfileder in action in their 1-1 draw to Frankfurt in the first leg of Europa League semifinals, Mourinho said the Italian is a 'complete' midfileder.
"Jorginho is, for me, the best midfielder in Europe. The way he controls the game recovers turnovers of possession and maintains the pressure, it's incredible," he said.
He displaced Ngolo Kante from his favoured position in midfield and looked a perfect fit for the team in the early stages of 'Sarriball'.
Things have however changed over time, with the Italian coming under attack from fans over poor play, with boos and jeers greeting him on many occasions.
He has played in almost all of Chelsea's English Premier League matches and has always been the first name on the teamsheet for Sarri.
