On the back of their 0-2 defeat to Manchester City, Manchester United legend Roy Keane has destroyed Fred for his part in conceding the second goal.

After a goalless draw in the first half, Bernardo Silva opened the scoring after 54 minutes before Leroy Sane ensured the three points 12 minutes later. The win moves City closer to the title after they leapfrogged Liverpool to the summit of the English Premier League with three games left to the end of the season.

Speaking while in a show at Sky Sports, Keane tore into Fred for his blunder in the build-up to Leroy Sane's goal, "Look at Fred for the goal. That’s not giving your all. It’s cheating. What he done was cheating, letting the guy run off him. Fred sells himself short. He gives the ball away which can happen, but you do not let Sterling get goalside of you. You’re in trouble from there. Why aren’t there players trying to stop the shots!"
