Salah on setting new Liverpool record
Salah ended his goal drought of going for eight matches without finding the back of the net. The Egyptian netted the second goal to hand Liverpool a 2-1 lead against the hosts before Jordan Henderson grabbed the third. The goal saw Salah achieve the feat in 69 appearances, three outings quicker than the previous record set by Fernando Torres.
"I think that's goal No.50 for Liverpool in the Premier League, that's special. After nine games [without scoring], I'm very happy to score a goal to help the team. That's the most important thing for us," Salah told Sky Sports.
