Man United midfielder gives update on his future
Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has admitted being unsure whether he will be at the club beyond the end of the current season.
The Spaniard's contract with the Red Devils is set to expire in the summer and despite saying he is 'calm' he admitted he doesn't know what the future holds for him.
"I don’t know. I've been in England for a good while, in a league that I'm well accustomed to and where I've adapted well, but it's true that at times you miss home, your family, your friends. But I don't know if I'll return to Spain in the near future," he said.
"I'm calm. I'm at the fantastic club that is Manchester United, one of the biggest in the world," he added.
Mata is one of three players who United risk losing without a transfer fee, along with Ander Herrera and Ashley Young.
