PL side close to rewarding manager with new contract
Premier League side Watford is set to offer manager Javi Gracia a new three-year deal.
As reported by The Daily Telegraph, Gracia's impressive start to the season has convinced the club he is the right man to lead Watford and is set to offer him a new deal. Gracia was appointed as Hornets boss at the end of January where he helped the club to avoid the axe.
Watford started the season with four straight league victories, including a 2-1 win at home to Tottenham, and Gracia was named the Premier League manager of the month for August. Gracia’s side is now winless in four league games but came close to earning a draw with Manchester United and were unfortunate to lose 2-0 to Arsenal at the end of September.
