Manchester United have been handed major blows ahead of their crunch time fixture against Chelsea on Saturday 20th October as six of their players are doubtful for the clash.

Nemanja Matic

Matic completed full 90 minutes in the remarkable comeback against Newcastle United over the weekend and was included in the Serbia squad for the UEFA Nations League matches but pulled out on Tuesday after suffering an injury.

Luke Shaw

Shaw has been impressive this season but has suffered some slight injury setbacks. He developed a complication in the 3-2 win over Newcastle United and wasn’t included in the England squad for the upcoming international matches.

Jesse Lingard

Lingard has been suffering from post-World Cup fatigue after developing a groin injury that doesn’t seem to go away. His last match for United was the penalty shootout defeat to Derby County in the third round Carabao Cup clash.

Marcus Rojo

Rojo suffered an injury in at the start of this season and hasn’t featured since then. The Argentine picked up an injury in a Manchester United Under 23 game which has further complicated his injury.

Ander Herrera

Just like Lingard, Herrera last featured in the defeat against Derby County and has been on and off due to a troublesome injury.

Scott McTominay

Scott McTominay was substituted in the 3-2 win over Newcastle United due to tactical reasons but has been left out of the Scotland squad for the upcoming matches after picking up an injury.
