KCCA not interested in signing Onduparaka skipper

Mike Mutebi has trashed rumors that the club is eyeing to sign Rashid Toha from Onduparaka FC during this transfer season.

The Kasasiros were largely criticized late last year when they decided to sign former Onduparaka captain Muhammad Shaban under very controversial circumstances.

Rumors circulating had it that Mutebi was plotting another coup for Toha who succeeded Shaban at the club.

The manager has come out strong to rubbish the talks and assured that, atleast for now, he is not thinking about the towering center-back.

“I want to flash out these rumors that have been going around that am interested with Rashid Toha,” he stated strongly.

He repeated: “I want to state it clearly that am not interested in him. He is the main man at Onduparaka and the project is around him, so, I cannot afford to destruct him. That rumor should be trashed out.”

KCCA will play Onduparaka in a two legged charity match on Friday 15th and Saturday 23rd in Kampala and Arua respectively.
