Immediate former Al Ahly head Hossam El Badry says his former side has been unlucky not to win some games in recent weeks.

Badry stepped down after Tuesday 0-2 loss to Uganda's KCCA in a CAF Champions League group stage match at Namboole Stadium in Uganda.

Speaking in the aftermath, Bary rued chances his side missed in the game including a first-half penalty. He added that his team has been unfortunate not to win some matches.

Many Chances

"In the first half, we controlled the game and created many chances but we did not use them and we lost. We even got a penalty but missed it and for the last 2-3 games, we don’t have luck. We have been losing games which we have been in control of," he said.

Badry announced his resignation after the match.
