The 20 – man Uganda Hippos team will leave the country on Wednesday 16th May heading to Yaounde, Cameroon for the return leg of their AFCON U20 qualifier scheduled for Friday 18th May.

Hippos carry a slim advantage, having beaten Cameroon U20 1 – 0 at the Startimes Stadium, Lugogo on Saturday 12th May and head coach Matia Lule will be hoping he can defend the narrow lead.

The coach will have a boost to the team with the return of KCCA FC defender Mustafa Kizza, who has missed the team’s last two matches, as he was suspended, following the red card he picked in the first leg match against South Sudan in the first leg of the first round of qualifiers.

Steven Mukwala, scorer of the first leg goal that gives Hippos the advantage ahead of the clash in Yaounde is also in the team and together with Hamis Tibita, will be leading Hippos’ charge in Cameroon.

Ghanaian referee Abdul Latif Adaari will be the man charged with running the game.
