Kirya starts work at Masavu, names team to face SC Villa in Masaka

Ibrahim Kirya has officially started work at Masavu FC barely a week after facing the sack at Mbarara City.

Reports indicate that the coach has been in full control of training and other technical roles at the club as he awaits to finalize his permanent move.

The coach has named the 18-man team that will travel to Masaka ahead of their clash with table leaders Sports Club Villa on Wednesday in their quest to survive the chop.

The team will miss six players due to injury and suspensions. They are custodian Salim Wekiya (Shoulder), Saddala Dumba (knee), Michael Ottimong (Thigh), Moses Kigundu (suspended) while Brian Nsubuga has Passport issues.

Goalkeepers; Mansool Mutumba, Ali Kigundu

Defenders; Philly Lutaaya, Sunday Mukiibi, Ibrahim Pengere, Benjamin Nyakoojo, Sulaiman Ochero

Midfielders; Hebert Kakande, Charles Napia Wamala, Simon Namwanja, Abraham Nduggwa, Geoffrey Wasswa, Godfrey Kana, Patrick Senfuka

Forwards; James Kasibante, Arthur Semazzi, Ivan Lubaale, Rashid Kyambadde
