The Uganda Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre has lauded the FUFA Summit initiative, called by the Ugandan football federation on Monday 12th March, to help bring together stakeholders in football for the growth of the game.

The Frenchman was part of the one day summit intended at getting recommendations and ideas to be implemented in the game by FUFA and speaking afterwards, lauded it saying it shows the federation’s commitment to the game.

Sharing experiences with former footballers, he said, will play a crucial part in the growth of football and admitted he is honoured to be part of it.

Share Experiences

“It shows the ambition of the federation to improve the game in Uganda and it is also important to share experiences with former players and former internationals and referees because here we are talking about the future of football in the nation.

“The whole idea is to grow the game and I am happy to be part of this and to speak about the strategies of improving Ugandan football,” he said.
