Express FC has received a major boost in their survival fight after former Vipers, KCCA and Vipers coach George ‘Best’ Nsiimbe agreed to join the club.

According to the club CEO, Hamza Jjuunju, the coach is not taking over the job but working in Partnership with Shafiq Bisaso to save the ailing club that is facing the relegation battle.

“I want to make it clear that Nsiimbe is not taking over the job,” Hamza told Futaa.

"He will be part of the technical team to run and manage training sessions, motivate the players on and off pitch because we believe in his knowledge of the game. He will work together with [Shafiq] Bisaso in the remaining games,” he added.

The Red Eagles are currently perched rock bottom of the Uganda Premier League with only sixteen points from ten games. They face Soana on Tuesday at Wankulukuku.
