Uganda Cranes striker joins Ethiopian club
Hamis Kiiza has joined Ethiopian Premier League side, Fasil Kenema on a short-term deal.
The club revealed the transfer news through their official social media accounts shortly after sealing the deal.
“Fasil Kenema has signed a deal with the Ugandan international (Hamis Kiiza) to strengthen the team for the second round of the league. We wish you a happy stay,” the message crudely translated from Amharic reads in part.
Kiiza became a free agent after parting ways with Sudanese Club Al-Hilal Obeid where he hsd stayed for only four months.
He attempted to join Uganda premier League side, Proline FC but the move failed to beat the January transfer deadline. He has previously featured for URA, Free States Stars (s. Africa), Yanga and Simba in Tanzania and Proline.
