Fufa president eng. Moses Magogo escaped unscathed after a bunch of thugs attacked his home in Bulenga, a Kampala suburb on Thursday morning.

The bunch, whose intentions are not yet known, attacked the guard with a machete before escaping.

Magogo confirmed the incidence via his official social media account while also clarifying to the public that neither him nor his family was hurt contrary to rumors.

“only my home guard was chopped by machete-carrying thugs about 5-6AM at my residence. The rest are safe and sound. The guard is under medical care but still unconscious. Disregard any contrary news,” he posted.

FUFA spokeman, Ahmed Hussein confirmed to Futaa that the case has been reported to Bulaga Police station and is under investigation.

Magogo is serving his second term at the helm of Uganda football’s highest post after his unopposed reelection in August last year. He is also a member of the CAF Executive committee.
