Europa: 90 for Mukiibi as Arsenal ease past Oestersunds in Sweden

Swedish giants, Oestersunds FK, have a mountain to climb if they’re to maintain their hopes of progressing in the UEFA Europa league after stumbling to a 3-0 loss to Arsenal on Thursday night. 

Nacho Monreal, an own goal by Sotirios Papagiannopoulos and Mesut Ozil ensured the Gunners fly back to London with one foot in the next round.

Swedish defender of Ugandan descent, Ronald Mukiibi, featured fully for Oestersunds in the game. 

Notable moments

Mukiibi nearly blundered inside his box after failing to head away an aerial ball which fell on Welbeck’s path but was quickly shut down and cleared away in the 9th minute. 

His other notable occasion was in the 40th when he excited the home crowd with a cheeky nutmeg on Nacho Monreal.

The defender’s overall performance was rated at 5/10 by the Daily mail.
