Apart from KCCA FC, several other Uganda Cranes stars were in action for their clubs in the Caf champions league and Confederations over the weekend.

In Tanzania, Emmanuel Okwi scored a goal and registered an assist as Simba Sports Club cruised past Djiboutian club, Gendarmerie Nationale.

Said Ndemla fired in as early as the 1st minute to put the hosts in the lead at the iconic National Stadium in Dar es Salaam. John Bocco added two more in the 33rd and 45th minute to give the side a firm lead into the break.

Okwi who had assisted Bocco for the third sealed the win at the death of second half.

In Botswana, Ivan Ntege produced a man of the match performance as his side Township Rollers rolled over Jamal Salim's Al Merreikh in a 4-0 win. Ntege earned plaudits from his club after the game.

"Our Ugandan International midfielder Ivan Ntege, who showcased a marvelous all-round performance in today's game against Al-Merrikh SC, once played against these Sudanese giants in 2014, while he was with his hometown football team Kampala City Capital Authority FC (KCCA FC) in Uganda," the club posted.
