Proline coach satisfied with mid-season preparations, Jinja retreat
Proline head coach and proprietor, Mujib Kasule, has been impressed with the level of preparations the team went through during the mid season break.
The Lugogo-based side finished the first leg with 17 points, just three above the relegation zone. The club climaxed their preparations with a three-day retreat at the Fufa Technical center in Njeru and Countryside inn hosted by Kirinya Jinja SS.
Kasule believes the retreat helped in building the mental strength of his players aside from their capacity.
"It was very important that we came here to camp and put the team together and most importantly sharing with Kirinya Jinja SS FC, our partners,” Kasule said at the end of the camp on Wednesday.
The coach says that the joint retreat with Kirinya –who are their next opponents in the league-, will have no bearing on the results when the two face off on Saturday.
“The boys needed a different environment away from their daily routine in Kampala. Our partnership with Kirinya is off the pitch. We associate off the pitch because they’re our partners but on the pitch, it is a different business- comnpoetition.
"we have done a lot during the break and believe we are ready for the final part of the season.”
The club re-signed Gift Ali who was out of contract at Police, Ronald Musana (from Nakumatt, Kenya) and promoted Richard Ajuna from the junior ranks.
