Ugandan champions release squad for Caf Champions League assignments

Uganda's representative to this year's Caf Champions League, KCCA FC, has unveiled the 27 man-team that will take part in the preliminary stage.

The club's head coach, Mike Mutebi, released the official list just days to their opening encounter against CNaPs of Madagascar.

Veteran goalkeeper, Benjamin Ochan, is among the most notable players missing on the list. Ochan has been replaced by former Kirinya Jinja SSS FC goalie Tom Ikara who moved to Lugogo during the January window.

Jamil Malyamungu and Charles Lukwago are the other contenders for the post. New signings, Hassan Musana and Solomon Okwalinga, have been drafted in the team.
