Uganda Revenue Authority FC are through to the 2018 Mapinduzi Cup final after eliminating Tanzania Premier League defending champions Young Africans in a semi final played at the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar.

The match ended with a barren score after normal time before the Ugandan tax collectors won 5-4 through post match penalty mark kicks.

URA had earlier eliminated another Tanzania Premier League giant, Simba SC, in the groups.

Patrick Mbowa, Kibumba, Shafiq Kagimu,  Jimmy Kulaba and Brian Majwega converted their kicks for URA.

They will now face the winner between Azam FC and Singida United in the final.

The two play at the same venue later on Wednesday night.
