Yanga ready for URA test as Mapinduzi enters semifinals
Tanzania Premier League defending champions, Young Africans Sports club will take on URA FC on Wednesday in the first semifinal of the ongoing Mapinduzi Cup in Zanzibar.
The team qualified as runners-up of group B, behind debutants Singida United and is facing the Ugandans who just eliminated their eternal rivals Simba.
Yanga’s assistant coach Shadrack Nsajigwa has praised URA's style of play and teamwork ahead of the mouth-watering match.
The former Taifa Stars defender knows well the threat posed by the tax collectors and has cautioned his boys ahead of the match, that they must maintain focus throughout the game.
- They are a good side thriving on teamwork. Their players are good and coordinate well; we expect a tough and competitive game. We are well prepared to counter their tactics and also impose our style. We expect to make some tactical changes but that will be known before the game, said Nsajigwa.
URA qualified for the knockouts as group leaders ahead of Azam FC who face Singida United in the other match.
