Kirinya Jinja SSS FC first-choice goalkeeper, Tom Ikara, has joined KCCA FC.

The youngster was dropped from the Uganda Cranes squad headed to the Africa Nations championships but is expected to be the fitting replacement for Benjamin Ochan who is tipped to join a Zambian club after the tournament.

- We are still in talks with them (KCCA) but nothing has been confirmed. They expressed interest but I cannot confirm anything, Kirinya Jinja SSS FC CEO Ahmed Kongola told Futaa.

However, our sources close to KCCA confirmed that the two had reached an agreement and the goalkeeper is expected to join the club later this week.

He revealed that the Jinja club is expected to earn about seventeen million shillings as transfer fees for one of their most prized assets.
