In a bid turn around the club’s fortunes, Express Fc has released about nine players as they find ways to revamp the squad before the second round kicks off. 

The Red Eagles ended the first round in the 15th place with only 11 points from three wins, two draws and ten losses.

The club’s Head coach Shafiq Bissaso had promised to do a major shakeup in the playing unit ahead of the league’s resumption.

The players include experienced defender Deo Othieno, Salim Munubi, Isaac Katende and Abdul Karim Kasule.

Others are; Rashid Nsubuga, John Kisakye, Jose Maria Lubega, Promise Mkepena and James Easther Ago.
