Former Proline FC midfielder Gift Ali has quit Police ahead of an impending move to Tusker FC in the Kenya Premier League.

The midfielder becomes the second -after Hood Kaweesa- to dump the cops in a space of one week in search of greener pastures abroad.

The player’s manager Peter Tabu confirmed the developments in an official statement on Friday evening.

- I would like to confirm that Gift Ali and Police FC have parted ways after a lot of considerations and agreed that it was the best to come to this conclusion and wishes the player the very best in his future endeavour, Tabu said.

Ali played fourteen games for Police after crossing over from Proline. He registered only two assists with no goal.

Close sources reveal that the player is expected to open a two year deal with the Kenyan brewers next week.
